Hello Vermeer!

The Mauritshuis has been around for 200 years and they are celebrating this throughout 2022 with special exhibitions. From July 9 to August 28, the family activity exhibition Hello Vermeer! can be visited in the Mauritshuis.

In this interactive exhibition, young and old can learn more about the famous painter Johannes Vermeer. Maurits Muis tells about his adventures with the girl with the pearl and children investigate for themselves. With a black light you discover where Vermeer painted the light. In the pharmacy of the recreated seventeenth-century Delft street you will learn what paint used to be made of and where the ingredients came from.
