F-16: 50 YEARS OF FAST FORWARD

In the temporary exhibition of the National Military Museum you will discover the story of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, an icon of the Dutch Air Force. The exhibition tells the spectacular story of the technology, missions, experiences of the pilots and more.

At the heart of the exhibition is a real F-16, the J-248, surrounded by a film screen of almost 40 meters long and 4 meters high. This mega screen shows a film from the pilot's perspective; You fly through narrow canyons, make dizzying loops above the sea and almost feel the G-forces as it smashes through the sound barrier at Mach 1.

The exhibition was designed by Designwolf. Kloosterboer produced and installed the exhibition.

F-16: 50 YEARS OF FAST FORWARD can be seen until September 30, 2023.
