Fortress Holland

The visitor center at the Jan Blanken Dry Dock is undergoing a complete transformation. Everything is being completely renovated and converted into a fully-fledged museum. Kloosterboer Decor will take care of the complete interior construction, including AV multimedia, based on a design by Kinkorn.

 

The Hellevoetsluis City Museum and the Jan Blanken Dry Dock together form Fortress Holland, the new open-air museum in Hellevoetsluis. The museum aims to highlight the significant importance Hellevoetsluis has played for the Netherlands as a naval and fortified port for centuries and to make it accessible to everyone.
