ABC with the animals – Children's Book Museum

At the Children's Book Museum, Anansi the spider has taken up residence in the "ABC – Along with the Animals" exhibition. The clever and mischievous storyteller comes to life in a colorful and interactive presentation for children.

Anansi originated in West Africa, and his stories have been passed down for generations within Surinamese and Caribbean cultures. Iven Cudogham's picture book series, illustrated by Studio Moldybyrd, brings this cultural heritage into the present day. As Cudogham himself puts it: "Anansi's adventures are stories from West Africa, but with a modern twist."‘

During his visit, Iven Cudogham emphasized the importance of all children being able to identify with stories. Because secretly, there's a little Anansi inside all of us.
