Experience the Wonder of Gouda

The city of Gouda is celebrating its 750th anniversary this year. Therefore, a special double exhibition is taking place at St. John's Church and Museum Gouda: Experience the Wonder of Gouda.

Here, you step back into the sixteenth century and encounter art treasures, exciting stories, and residents from that turbulent time. Kloosterboer, in collaboration with designers XPEX, delivered the exhibition, including AV delivery and installation.

The exhibition was officially opened by King Willem-Alexander on April 12th. Visitors are transported back in time, through images and sound, as if it were 1570, with unique altarpieces in their original locations in the then Catholic city of Gouda.

After the experience in the church, the Wonder continues at Museum Gouda. There, visitors can see, among other things, the life-size drawings for the stained-glass windows in St. John's Church.
