Visitors – Beemster center
The World Heritage Hall has officially opened at the Beemster Visitor Centre: a new exhibition space that tells the unique story of the Beemster region.
The hall highlights the two UNESCO World Heritage sites in the polder: the Beemster Polder and the Dutch Waterlines, and shows how landscape, water management, and history have together shaped North Holland.
Kloosterboer was commissioned to create this space based on the concept and spatial design by Kay Kloosterboer, in collaboration with local Beemster entrepreneurs.
