The Time Staircase is a new permanent exhibition space in the escalator of the Markthal, featuring archaeological finds excavated from the construction pit.
Take an escalator and literally travel through time, experiencing Rotterdam's history through images, sounds, and original objects. Each floor represents a different period in the city's history, bringing you closer to Rotterdam's origins.
