Frans Hals Museum
In 2013, the Frans Hals Museum celebrated its 100th anniversary. During this anniversary year, several spaces (the workshop area, locker room, and film room) were given a new lease of life. a new interior.
The workshop space became a fresh and contemporary studio. The designers incorporated Frans Hals's virtuoso use of color throughout the space. The focal point of the space is a 12-meter-long cabinet. The upper section of the cabinet houses storage with blind doors where sample cards from Frans Hals's color palette are milled out.
The installation in the film space consists of 67 screens of different sizes attached to three walls and tells a biographical visual story of Frans Hals.
