…and who are you? – Museum de Voorde

Museum De Voorde is the new museum in the city center of Zoetermeer that emerged from Stadsmuseum Zoetermeer. The doors were opened to visitors last April. On the second floor of the museum you will find an exhibition with seven pavilions about you and your identity. You discover what you find important.

In the exhibition 'And who are you?' you are challenged to think in a cheerful way about what makes you who you are. Seven examples have been selected. The examples come from Zoetermeer. And not for nothing: the village of Zoetermeer was once designated as a growth center of The Hague. The people came. Of every 10 residents, 9 were new. All new residents took a whole life with them. Nowhere has so much variety of opinions, insights and beliefs come together in such a short time. These are shown and told in the exhibition about you and your identity.

In a quiz you can discover which religious or spiritual statements suit you best. And together with your family or friends you give your opinion on the Conversation Square. In the display case you will find objects from Zoetermeer's history that refer to the themes in the pavilions.
