Reverse – National Military Museum
On September 7, 2009, Rob, Mark, Joost, Robin, and an Afghan interpreter in this open all-terrain vehicle hit a roadside bomb while on patrol in Afghanistan. In this incident, 44-year-old Sergeant Major Mark Leijsen was killed.
His colleagues Rob, Joost, Robin, and the Afghan interpreter survived. The Mercedes-Benz SUV was used for years by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (EODD) as a training model for training courses. Now that the damaged vehicle is no longer in use, it was donated to the National Military Museum at the request of Mark Leijsen's widow, son, and colleagues.

Kloosterboer oversaw the construction of the new theme space, based on a design by Kossmanndejong. The steel structure was constructed by Van Ee Steel Specialists.
