Media Museum Image & Sound – Wonder

Enter the renewed exhibition "Amaze" and experience for yourself how consumer electronics have changed our living rooms and habits time and again.

The fifth floor of the Media Museum of Sound and Vision has been completely renovated. The name of the permanent exhibition remains the same, but the content is new.

In "Verwonderen" (Amazing), you'll travel through the past seventy years and discover how consumer electronics have repeatedly shaped our habits and dreams. You'll see how devices weren't just technically innovative, but also shaped the interiors, atmosphere, and experiences of entire generations. You can watch, listen, play, and try things out: there's something to discover everywhere.

The exhibition was co-organised with FIAR, the organiser of the major biennial electronics fair Firato.

Kloosterboer was responsible for the construction of the new exhibition design.
