Railway animals – Railway Museum

The Railway Museum is a place where you can discover how trains have changed the world. A new outdoor exhibition has now been added: Railway Animals, a playful experience especially for children aged 4 to 12.

In Spoordieren (Railway Animals), visitors discover the unique lives of animals that live on and around the railway, such as badgers, beavers, and storks. How do they interact with the train? And how do we ensure that humans and animals live together safely? The presentation is packed with fun facts and active challenges.

Spoordieren also shows the measures being taken to protect animals: from artificial dens for badgers to fences that keep swans away from overhead lines and smart solutions to keep storks away from portals.

Kloosterboer Decor took care of the construction for this new children's presentation.
