Things That Matter

On July 12, 2018, the Tropenmuseum's new exhibition, Things That Matter, officially opened. Things That Matter is a new exhibition about important things and the importance of things: objects of great personal significance that are simultaneously closely connected to ten contemporary social issues, such as migration and origin.

The objects in Things That Matter come from all over the world and carry stories that are just as meaningful in the Netherlands.

The Things That Matter exhibition is expected to be on display for 5 years.
