Artus Quellinus – Royal Palace Amsterdam

Discover the master of living marble. His marble sculptures in the City Hall on Dam Square, now the Royal Palace, became world-famous. Yet, after his death, Artus Quellinus faded somewhat into obscurity.

This is now about to change with the very first major retrospective exhibition of this 17th-century master sculptor: Artus Quellinus – Sculptor of Amsterdam.

Open to visitors from 18 June to 27 October in Quellinus's masterpiece: the Royal Palace Amsterdam.

More than 100 masterpieces, highlights from national and international collections, including works from the Louvre, the Rubens House, and the Rijksmuseum. Many sculptures are on display in the Netherlands for the first time!
