Rexperience

From June 22, you can travel through time in the brand new and spectacular Rexperience at the Biodiversity Museum Naturalis in Leiden.

In this attraction you enter a 4D time capsule that takes you back in time 66 million years as a member of the expedition team. Here you come face to face with T-rex Trix, a life-size animatronic that cannot be distinguished from the real thing.

Commissioned by the Naturalis Biodiversity museum, Kloosterboer Decor was responsible for the development and construction of this special experience in close collaboration with design agency Studio Daniel Ament.

Together with the Naturalis and Semmika team, Kloosterboer Decor provided, in addition to the complete architectural design and theming, the AV hardware and the complete show control, and delivered in close collaboration with the BerkelaarMRT company (specialized in mechatronics) and Rob's Prop Shop (specialized in creature/special effects) the moving animatronics.
