F-16: 50 YEARS OF FAST FORWARD

In the temporary exhibition at the National Military Museum, you'll discover the story of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, an icon of the Dutch Air Force. The exhibition tells the spectacular story of its technology, missions, pilots' experiences, and more.

At the heart of the exhibition is a real F-16, the J-248, surrounded by a movie screen nearly 40 meters long and 4 meters high. This mega-screen shows a film from the pilot's perspective; you fly along through narrow canyons, make dizzying loops above the sea, and almost feel the g-forces as it smashes through the sound barrier at Mach 1.

The exhibition was designed by Designwolf. Kloosterboer produced and installed it.

F-16: 50 YEARS OF FAST FORWARD can be seen until September 30, 2023.
