14 The Musical is entirely dedicated to one of the Netherlands' greatest icons of all time, Johan Cruyff. The musical takes you through the life of the legendary footballer. A story of ambition, love, friendship, loneliness, and betrayal.

With 14 The Musical, screenwriter and director Tom de Ket aims to explore what it says about the Dutch that Cruyff is our icon. Through song, spoken word, dance, music, video, and archive footage, you'll see Cruyff's life through the eyes of the man himself. A brilliant footballer with strong opinions about everything in life. A man who talked a lot, but wasn't always understood. "But that's logical. Because you only see it when you understand it."

Kloosterboer was responsible for building the set for this special musical.

The world premiere will be on September 25, 2021 in the new AFAS Theater Leusden near Amersfoort.
