Beezantium Pop-up Exhibit

The world-famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show is renowned for its colorful garden inspiration and activities in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

Commissioned by The Newt, Kloosterboer built a pop-up Beezantium for this edition of the show, inspired by the Beezantium exhibition at The Newt in Somerset. Visitors to the RHS were invited to step inside the larger-scale replica of a beehive and see the world from a bee's perspective.

From the complete preparation in our workshop in Purmerend to the on-site construction in Chelsea, London, the fascinating story of the bees comes to life through the integration of various audiovisual techniques into the honeycombs.
