The Netherlands in the Second World War – Resistance Museum
In the permanent exhibition The Netherlands in the Second World War, visitors are introduced to the personal stories of one hundred people who experienced the war firsthand. Through their experiences, it becomes clear how profound the occupation years were and what difficult choices people faced.
The exhibition takes visitors through six phases of the occupation period and offers new perspectives on daily life during the war. Through authentic stories, objects, and multimedia presentations, a compelling picture of this important period in Dutch history emerges.
For this renewed permanent presentation, Kloosterboer collaborated with design studio Ilona Laurijsse on the technical realization of the exhibition concept. We handled the engineering, production, installation, and finishing of the exhibition, including the integration of audiovisual technology, show control, and programming.
